SPCAA OPENS NEW, STATE OF THE ART, ARTS STUDIO
Public Welcome to Blessing and Dedication of New Piano, Cello, and Guitar Studios
GENEVA – St. Peter’s Community Arts Academy (SPCAA), invited the community and media to a dedication and blessing of their new, state-of-the-art, music studio building on Saturday, October 16. Following the dedication and blessing, members of the community were welcomed to take tours of the building between 1 – 3 pm, meet faculty and staff, and enjoy refreshments. While touring the building, masks were required (and supplied for those who did not have one).
The newly repurposed building is 3,000 square feet of music studio space including a Keyboard Lab, group ensemble rooms, an administration office, and five studio rooms for Piano, Violin, Viola, Guitar and Voice. Musical Beginnings, the Cello studio and Ballet School continue to be housed in the Rankine Parish Hall. The next phase of the capital campaign will be construction of an addition that will join the new studio building to the existing Parish Hall. This will enable the addition of an elevator thereby making the entire campus accessible. If you are interested in learning more about the campaign, please contact Sharon Arthur, Capital Campaign Manager at or visit our website.
