SPCAA Ballet School will participate in a global event on December 3 of each year to acknowledge the United Nation’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The Heidi Latsky Dance Company brings together performers, in an event called ON DISPLAY, who are disabled, non-disabled, and of varying ages, sizes, and races in works designed to lean into each individual’s strengths where everyone has an equal role. “Since 2015, ON DISPLAY has inhabited more than 200 public and private spaces with as many as 650 participants in a single installation. By exposing the general public to our widely diverse sculpture courts, we are expanding what inclusion looks like.”

ON DISPLAY GLOBAL incorporates in-person and virtual performers into a large-scale 24-hour Zoom event bringing together representatives from over 30 countries and 4,000 viewers from 12:00 AM-11:59 PM EST on December 3 of each year.

We will participate using the ON DISPLAY GLOBAL live video call at 4 PM from the St. Peter’s Ballet Studio. Participants will be at the studio from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Alaina Olivieri, Head of The Ballet School, will be giving all participants instructions before SPCAA’s participation in the Zoom hour in the event. This event is free to participate in for all community members 8+. Please feel welcome to invite friends and family to participate.
