From 2014-2020, Rachael held the position as Strings Director at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Greenville, SC. From 2022-2023, she was a hired keyboardist for Harvest Anglican Church in Simpsonville, SC.
Rachael began her piano studies at the age of five and at age nine, began violin lessons. She continued her piano studies throughout high school at the Hochstein School of Music under Joe Werner, former keyboardist for the RPO, and violin at the Eastman School of Music under Karine Stone. Rachael earned a violin performance degree from Bob Jones University in 2012, while maintaining a full schedule accompanying collegiate instrumental and voice lessons. Upon graduation, Rachael became a resident of South Carolina and ran a full time home studio for eight years offering lessons on violin, piano, and viola.
Rachael continues her pursuit of excellence in pedagogical studies through her participation in the Starling-DeLay Symposium on Violin Studies at the Juilliard School in NYC. During her residency in Greenville, she remained active performing in the region’s professional orchestras, was a violinist and keyboardist for Carolina Music Planner and Greenville Wedding Music, and performed for various musicals and summer music festivals.
