Fredrik Jernberg

Fredrik grew up in Sweden and earned his Bachelor’s Diploma from Luca School of Arts in Leuven, Belgium, in the studio of Raphaella Smits. He moved to Rochester, NY, in 2021 to continue his music studies at Eastman School of Music in the studio of Nicholas Goluses, where he earned a Performer’s Certificate in 2022 and a Master of Music diploma in 2023. Fredrik currently holds a teaching assistantship in music theory at Eastman and a teaching internship at Eastman Community Music School. He is also involved in the local guitar scene as part of Rochester Classical Guitar. Fredrik performs both as a solo and ensemble artist in the US and Europe, and especially enjoys collaborating with composers and performing new music.
