Ryan McKenna is a music educator, accompanist and performer based in Geneva, NY. He holds a Master’s degree in Music Theory Pedagogy from the Eastman School of Music and completed his undergraduate studies in Music Education at Ithaca College. Ryan enjoys a wide variety of musical styles and is particularly passionate about integrating music theory and improvisation into piano performance and instruction.
Currently, he serves as the High School Band Director for the Waterloo Central School District and as the organist at The Presbyterian Church in Geneva. With a comprehensive background in classroom teaching, ensemble direction, and private instruction, Ryan works with pianists of all ages and experience levels, tailoring lessons to help each student develop confidence, technical fluency, and a lasting appreciation for music.
